I think I will be going with one of the logitech cordless notebook mice and the mac bluetooth keyboard.
These logitech mice have OSX drivers which a lot of the higher end Logitech mice do not. Plus a mini mouse with a mini mac sounds about right ;)

Since the white iPhone 4 just came out I was wondering what's going to happen when the iPhone 5 comes out with a new "killer feature" and all these people signing up now are going to be hating it that they didn't wait.
I'm sure the people signing 2 year contracts are very proud though and won't easily admit they should have waited for the 5 but I wonder: if there was a realistic feature that the iPhone 5 could have that would make you hate it that you used your upgrade on the iPhone 4, what would that be?
- 4.3 inch screen?
- 4 inch screen?
- 1ghz processor?
- Matte screen?
- Carbon Fiber esque body?
- 1800mAh battery?
- Removable battery?
- 8 mp camera w/ 1020p recording?
- 64 gb version?
- Improved antenna?
- LED notification indicator?
- NFC wallet replacement capability?
- Dual core?
- SD card slot?
- Gesture / Swipe area?
If there is something I'm missing feel free to add it.
Just wondering what feature in particular would make iPhone owners that just recently got contracts be mad that they didn't wait...

Realized I was probably being a bit too harsh on the router. It works as well as other routers. I just need more range. Is there anyway I could increase the range of the router?
I've heard about Omni directional antennas and range extenders.
Any suggestions?

Run the Disk Utility application (in the Utilities folder in your Applications folder). Select your hard disk in the left pane and click on the Repair Permissions button.
I run Macaroni which repairs permissions automatically according to a schedule, and have never had a problem. I believe that conventional wisdom suggests that you should repair permissions before and after applying Apple software updates, and after installing any application that requires the entry of the admin password.

Right now I have 2010 13 Mbp and a 2.93 i7 iMac but I want a Mac pro for the ability to upgrade and expansion. So I'm considering selling them both for a Mac pro. Say I buy one one now am I going to be able add a thunderbolt port via pci slot. Or should I wait until apple does it

Unfortunately it's an insurance job, RAC just happen to be the people Elephant use to replace windscreens. So I can't threaten to move to the AA, as I'm not even with RAC to begin with.Send the bill to Elephant.

When you slam the lid down, does your computer go to sleep or it still runs? It happened to me on Preview 1 that the entire machine was still running even when the lid is closed. I got tired of having to shut down my computer all the time and decided to go back to Snow Leopard, because I'm consistently mobile.
I just downloaded Preview 2 from MAS, but still unsure if I should install it since this is the biggest issue I ran into. Somebody please confirm.

Opening up iCal server is needed to build a collaborative system on OSX. I can see opening up source code as a way for the development community to create killer apps under CalDAV.

I merged "Using Grapher" into "Grapher" because both articles were short and it was redundant to keep them separate. However I can't "move" "Using Grapher" to Grapher, which I'm trying to do to redirect the page to the main Grapher article where all the same information is located. Um, is there a way I can redirect a page without a move operation?
Thanks,
Sebastian

No, you can only restore using itunes.
Did you try using another computer with the latest itunes version installed?
What kind of iphone you're trying to restore, is it JB, does it have the ipad baseband installed, what firmware is it on now etc.....

Thanks for the fast reply guys. To answer your questions I did order the Mini with BT and WiFi however I absolutely do not want any wireless devices. The USB ports are not a problem since I have a 4 port hub built into my desk. I don't think i'll really need the two mouse buttons but I really like the scroll wheel for browsing the web. I will consider the MacMice and the Apple KB. Thanks for the suggestions!

So some of you have seen my post about trying to decide b/w a macbook pro 15 or 17. But I was talking to someone today and they said that they heard that the newest model MBP may be released in September? I know this may be a stretch simply because i dont know how much anybody knows about the release date. But should i go ahead with my purchase of the quadcore 2011 version released a couple months ago or should i wait for a possible release that might not even happen?

http://www.zdnet.com/blog/computers/why-intels-22nm-technology-really-matters/5703
"Intel will use this novel 22nm technology to manufacture its Ivy Bridge processors, which should be in volume production in the second half of this year and available in PCs and servers starting in early 2012."
They start production this year. Won't be available until 2012.
yeah this is what i read
http://singularityhub.com/2011/05/04/moores-law-lives-intel-announces-launch-of-22-nanometer-3d-transistor-video/
The first processor using this 22nm 3D technology will be called Ivy Bridge and it will be available in the second half of 2011.
guess we will see.. maybe this year maybe not!
